2013 New Year blog hop

Welcome to the New Year 's Blog Hop
So many people still make New Year resolutions hoping for a fresh start to some aspects of their lives with the start of a new year.
I thought it would be fun to find out if, and what, the community of vampires in 'The Ruthin Trilogy' did to celebrate the beginning of a new year.
The only one of them willing to talk to me is Drew Ruthin. The rest are 'traveling', which is ominous since that might mean they are searching for Drew.
The great thing is, he's brought along Elise. Who as a 'special being' is quite private, so it's great to meet her.
Hi Drew,
First of all welcome back to the blog.
Q.Tell me do you make new year resolutions?
A. I think they are a bit pointless, unless you really mean them. If you need to do something you should do it, not wait for a new year. I can't remember much about my former life, but I bet I was too selfish to consider trying to make myself a better person, make that, vampire, through new year resolutions.
Q. So you haven't made a new year's resolution for 2013 then?
A. I have actually.(smiles) I've decided to help anyone who needs help.
Q. Does that include beings like Balthazar and Seth, who as far as I know are out to capture you?
A. (Laughs) I certainly will not be helping them capture me, no. Ask Elise if she has made any new year resolutions.

Hi Elise, thanks for being here with Drew
Q. Drew seems to think you might have made new year resolutions, have you?
A. (Smiles) I haven't. He's just probably hoping for more reassurance that I am not going to change my mind about hiding out with him. He doesn't need to worry I've abandoned my race and will always be with Drew now.

If you have made any new year resolutions, or haven't, tell us about it in a comment with your email address, to enter the grand prize draw.
We have THREE grand prizes. You as a reader can go to EACH blog and comment with your email address and be entered to win. Yep, you can enter over 200 times!

Now what are those prizes?

1st Grand Prize: A Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet
2nd Grand Prize: A $300 Amazon or B&N Gift Card
3rd Grand Prize: A Swag Pack that contains paperbacks, ebooks, 50+ bookmarks, cover flats, magnets, pens, coffee cozies, and more!
Everything but the swag prize is international, so give your luck a try and comment for the chance to win. The grand prize blog hop winners will be announced on January 7th

You can also win a digital copy of any of my books, just leave a comment on the blog saying which of the three books, Stone Kisses, Devon Ruthin and A Vampire in Love, or Drew Ruthin and the Blood of Changes, you would like, and what kind of e-reader you use, to enter the draw for this prize.
Sorry if the blog hop linky list is not showing, if not here is a link to a list on the organizer's blog.  http://carrieannbloghops.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/new-year-blog-hop-updated-list.html

I think more people are apt to follow through with goals and changes when they start the new year since others are too and you can gain more support. I think more people should be mentally planning on making changes and then use the new year as a start date....it can work.Hope your new year is full of fun adventures laughter and wisdom.
